I have a goal to watch a bunch of "cult classic" movies that I haven't watched before. I kicked it off with Heathers the other day, but I'm not sure what to watch next.
Evil Dead trilogy Anything Tarantino/Rodriguez Tombstone/The Quick and The Dead Eraserhead (if you dare...there's not a weirder movie) Dazed & Confused Almost Famous American Psycho Anything Aronofsky (Requiem for a Dream/The Fountain/Black Swan) The Shawshank Redemption Anything Larry Clark (Kids/Bully) A Clockwork Orange
LOL! By these suggestions I've actually seen a lot more cult classics than I thought I had.
MaryJane, I've seen all of your suggestions except Jawbreaker and Flash Gordon.
MavJen, This is Spinal Tap is a good suggestion! It's one that I think about sometimes but haven't seen. I'm going to pass on the Wes Anderson movies though. With the exception of Rushmore, all of the other movies I've seen of his I've found boring as hell. The Life Aquatic is one of only a handful of movies that was so awful that I stopped watching in the middle of it. Paul Thomas Anderson is a bit hit or miss for me too.
Love love love Stanley Kubrick though. He's one of the few people where we own all of his films on DVD. I should check out Akira Kurosawa, I don't think I've watched anything by him.
Perky, I don't know anything about Pan, but I love Labyrinth!
Vaportrail, I've seen most of your suggestions too, but not Earserhead. I do like David Lynch films though, so that's a maybe.
The Big Lebowski Heathers The Princess Bride Rocky Horror Picture Show (Beastmaster used to be what I watched when I was sick and stayed home from school.)
Lots of good suggestions! Thanks ladies. I've seen a bunch of these, but it's good to know my first pick of Heathers made the list. I also watched Mommie Dearest the other day. OMG!!

Mommie Dearest is great! We used to watch it on Mother's Day, lol.

Is Dead Alive by Peter Jackson? I get it confused with Bad Taste.
