I just have to say bravo to Sam Trammel. He is a hilarious impersonator. "Just mind your own damn business!" said while he is flapping his ass for all to see. I don't care how cheesy the plot, write in a people shift each season please!
I liked this one, probably because we didn't have to hear endless conversation on Lilith and the book, et al. I don't know where that storyline is going but I think Bill is all in. Whenever you start to think a vamp has a heart and " is different" they make sure you know they are not.
I have predictions: Terry will set off of to kill his friend but chicken out at the end, because he realizes that this woman is trying to make him kill when that is what got him here in the first place so he will offer himself to be killed. Then the smoke monster will smote his friend and Terry will be free!
" Warlow" is a Fairy vamp and is after Sookie to make her one too. ( Based on nothing except a powerful vamp wanting the fairy has been down to death;)
Fairly obvious now, but I thought this when they first brought Russell back. Russel and the preacher dude are set to be a cosy couple;)
I have no idea where the vamps, shifters or Hoyt is going. Someone hinted at Hoyt's mom being involved and I am thinking she might have been the " friend face"

H and I enjoyed this episode. Me a little more with all the man butt - Sam and ALCIDE! Yes please.
I thought the vampire Sookie channeled looked like Russell - chin and thin lips. But that would be too easy. Same with Luna/Sam sniffing out the woman in Hoyte's friends basement - first thought was Maxine - but seems too obvious. So glad Hoyte freed Jess, but I wonder who was in the truck with the gun...
Eric needs to go back being a badass. I like how Pam brought that snotty girl for Tara.
I'm still tired of the whole sanguinista storyline but at least it's starting to make a little more sense. Even H commented on how many different stories are going on.
LOVE Lafayette again. Giving attitude to Arlene and Holly. And I teared up when Jesus appeared in his car and they held hands.
Over on CE&P board, I liked pp ECB's thought of Eric and Bill playing good cop/bad cop to make it look like Bill really is with the sanguinista.

You beat me to it. Yes- I wouldn't be surprised if Bill is pretending to have switched to get into their confidence and the whole Eric pushing/ questioning him is to make him look better in their eyes.
To me, it's not about "Oh- Bill has a heart!! He can't be bad". It's just more that I haven't bought into that he's changed.
But who knows - i could be wrong!
I personally didn't think of Maxine at all! So to me, it WOULD have been a surprise if she's the one behind it.
Overall- enjoyed this episode a LOT more than the others!

I'll admit, I watched the commentary about the episode;). They talk about how Bill's character is the biggest change because he was so for mainstreaming. Plus, his idea is pretty brilliant and is meant to more than just keep up appearances:(.

I felt like this one was getting more interesting. Tying Lala into the ifrit storyline actually made it somewhat interesting. And I love how Private Dancer (sorry, that was his name when he was on Scrubs) just booked when he found out one of them had to die. No noble self-sacrifice for him!
The storyline with Alcide and random were chick is still bugging me. I asked DH last night, "Do we even know her name?" and he was like, "I don't know if Alcide even knows her name." lol. But, nekkid Alcide makes it a worthwhile storyline.
Glad Hoyt freed Jess, and I like that she was honest with him even if it meant potentially getting staked.
I'm still so peeved with the writers for just killing off Claudine so randomly in their Amnesiac-Eric storyline. It bugged the hell out of me way back then (Sookie is supposed to fall for him because Amnesiac-Eric is so sweet and kind, which is pretty much null and void if he drains the first person he sees) and now it bugs me even more knowing that she would know who the killer was. I guess it was a way to artificially extend the suspense, but I don't like it.
Not sure about Sam sniffing around with the hate group...I think if it was anyone we knew (Maxine, etc.) he would know it, right? She's in and out of the bar all the time, he would know her scent specifically instead of having to do his CSI-like scent-profiling thing. But, she would make a good villain and she definitely has it in for vamps, so maybe it is her. :-D
I agree that Sam-the-actor did a great job with his hip-swishing interpretation of Luna-as-Sam.

Thank you - I knew Claudine was killed but couldn't remember the circumstances. So when witchy woman messed with Eric's head, he went out and was so attracted to Claudine he drained her? Oh then she turned into a creepy troll fairy, right?

It was SO random. Sookie finds Eric running around semi-naked. She realizes he has amnesia. I think she gets him to her house (?) maybe and right outside Claudine is there. Claudine starts to say something and Eric is like "Yum!" and drains her until she's dead. And Sookie is like, "Okay, whatever! You may have murdered my fairy godmother but you're still totally dreamy!"
It REALLY bugged me -- I know I shouldn't compare with the books, but in the books the Sookie-Eric romance kind of makes sense, because Amnesiac-Eric is kind of innocent and sweet, etc. That little random event make the Sookie-Eric hookup totally less believable to me.
