What can I say, I'm in an indecisive, approval seeking mood today. I've been on the hunt for some not too terribly high black wedges and found these at DSW. They are a little lower than I was looking for, but they were comfortable and different than most of my shoes. (they look a little big in the pics, but they feel pretty secure. It's something I've learned to live with since I wear a 5 1/2 shoe and they are reallly hard to find, I usally go up to a size 6) So I need stylish people's opinion- keep or return
I'm on the fence. I like the wedge and the front of the sandal. But, I'm not crazy about the back of it, it's too bulky or something. Overall, it's a good black wedge so if it's hard to find shoes that fit your feet, I'd keep them if I really needed a black wedge sandal.
This. I think if they were going to make that piece of material at the heel like that, they should have opted for a thinner ankle strap. Personally I wouldn't wear them because I'm short and such a straight horizontal line across my ankle would just make me look even shorter because it would cut me off.

Unsolicited, but here are other options in size 5.5
I just searched shopstyle and there's not a lot out there for 5.5's. I'd just keep the pair you have because they fit and flatter your feet.
Thanks for doing that. Now you feel my pain! It gets really frustrating sometimes with shoe shopping when you find things you like and they never have it small enough. On the up side most stores have there smallest size out on display so I don't have to bother with sales clerks to know if they will have my size.
I don't like them at all, but I also have the worst taste in shoes apparently. If I like a pair of shoes, pretty much everyone on here thinks they are fug, which means you are probably good with these
I like them a lot actually. I find most smaller wedges very matronly looking and those have a tad of edginess that makes them cute. I would actually buy those.
I think they're pretty decent, but here's some other options if you aren't sold. I tried to choose the ones on the less fugly side of the continuum, lol:
