We are a huge lego household, and my daughter LOVES the lego friends. Not a big deal, they all interlock and fit together right? Hell no, the new miniature dolls don't work with regular lego minifigures, which drives both kids to tears sometimes. I am about to throw all the minifigures away I swear! Why Lego must you make sets that don't work together! Even the Junior building sets for girls have normal figures. My daughter wants the pink and purple and all the girly sets, but then gets mad that she can't put a stormtroopers helmet on them. My son doesn't care if hes using pink or purple blocks so its just the mini figures I hate now.
Any idea on how to separate them out, with out making them into girl only toys? We just put all the blocks together, and the minifigures have there own tote. Do I need to make a friends tote too. How I hate these new minifigures.
I noticed that the figures were different when they first came out. I didn't get it. Glad I'm not the only one.
I was a kid when the first "girly" Playmobil sets came out, and I thought it was awesome that they would work pretty well alongside the pirates, policemen, and astronauts. I still think this is awesome, and continue to shower my godson with Playmobils for every holiday (including figures of all sorts from veterinarians to vikings).
