Happy (or not) Monday to you all!
What are you up to today? I'm doing laundry, posting an Ebay item, making bread and organising myself for some future work.
QOTD: since I heard Christmas music yesterday while at Starbucks (YUCK...it's too early), I would love to know your favourite Christmas tune. Mine is Oh, Holy Night. It always gives me shivers.
Back to a normal week at work after our "Innovation Week" last week (in which we all spent three days at a spa hotel in Sweden and worked on small pet projects instead of normal work). The weather is extremely dreary, so I think I'll spend a quiet night at home with some reading.
QOTD: Among the classics, "Carol of the Bells." I think it sounds so intricate! My contemporary favorite is probably "Feliz Navidad." I have no idea why; it just makes me smile.
I'll also answer the opposite question. I cannot stand "All I Want for Christmas Is You." I think it's overplayed. If I only heard it a few times a year, I'd be fine with it, but around the half-dozen mark it starts to sound like nails on a chalkboard.
Not so happy Monday since we just got back from a lovely little weekend getaway in the mountains. But I'm feeling refreshed at least! GilliC, this "innovation week" thing sounds amazing!
QOTD: Not feeling Christmasy at all since it's summer here and we're not going to Italy or the US for Christmas this year . We'll have a nice time with friends, but it sure doesn't feel like the holiday season when it's 85+ degrees!
Regardless, my favorite carols is "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas". It brings happy tears to my eyes every time I hear it.
Least favorite is "Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time". It makes me irrationally angry.

Hello and Happy Monday! It was tap class night for me and we had class at the theater where the dance school is preparing for the end-of-year concert. My class isn't in the concert, but we get to have class at the theater for the three weeks before the concert. It's pretty fun. And we had an audience tonight. One of the ladies brought her daughter and her daughter brought three teddy bears. So we performed for the teddies -- then we performed with the teddies. It was fun.
QOTD: I love O Holy Night, and a not-as-often played O Come, O Come, Emmanuel. I really tend towards the religious carols for my Christmas music. Ohh, and I discovered Jackson Browne's The Rebel Jesus last year -- it will definitely rank as one of my favorites. For pop Christmas songs, I really like Snoopy's Christmas by The Royal Guardsmen, and I almost never hear it played. My Dad had a record with the song on it and we played it when we would decorate the tree.
Following from GilliC, if I never hear Jingle Bell Rock again, it will be too soon. I cannot stand that song!
mrsukyankee Sounds similar to my day. Posting cheques home to our bank, returning jeans and other family admin stuff.
Not much here. I'm in the 'super pregnant' stage (week to due date) and keeping to myself a lot. Crabby and uncomfortable and don't like the constant comments from strangers about my size.
QOTD: Don't have a favourite song but really enjoy Micheal Buble's Christmas album. Must steel myself to not start playing it until December.

Hi ladies! Happy Monday :-)
Nothing too exciting going on here! I'm at work and then heading to teach Zumba tonight! Then meeting a friend at the mall so we can do some baby shower planning for a friend.
QOTD: Agreed with the posters who said O Holy Night and O Come, O Come Emmanuel. I can't think of any other songs at the moment!
