Read The Clan of the Cave Bear and the other books in the series? I read these way too young because my Mom had read the first one and forgot half of it and let me read the whole series, which got progressively more literotic-esque. Thinking about these books now makes me realize how fucking funny they were!

Yes. I love them and hate them at the same time. I think they overall story is interesting, but they are so poorly written! And the sex scenes were so tedious I was skipping them when I was a 17 year old virgin.
I think I was twelve or thirteen (strike that, I was a sixteen year old virgin) when I got Clan of the Cave Bear. I think it was a Christmas present. My mom had no idea. But then neither did I. I just knew it was a big book with a cool cover that had a horse and a girl. I sure learned a few things.

I've never heard of the books but my husband became obsessed with the name because of some weird trance music DJ that he likes. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayla_%28producer%29
I love how the two if them invented fucking EVERYTHING. Flint fires, horseback riding, archery...ha!
And she was the only one who could take his freakish wang. Lmao!
Have new ones been published? The last one I read was when she had the baby girl and was going to be a medicine woman.
Yes, there has been another one since that. It came out 2-3 years ago, it's called Land of Painted Caves. Don't waste your time though. It is 783 times more plotless and repetitive than the other 5 put together.
