I actually don't mind it, though the black lip is way too much. AND I HATE LAUREL BECOMING BLACK CANARY! I just can not stand her. And still not telling her dad about Sara? Way not cool.

In the comics, their dad actually dies as some point, we'll see if that happens. But their mom was also the original Black Canary, so I wouldn't be surprised if they don't go that route.

She looks great. It's a nice costume, I like that it's practical. However, her character needs work, a lot of work, before she's ready IMO. I think it is way too soon after Sara for this to be happening. Now that the images are out I bet we see her dress after the fall finale.
I really liked Sara's Canary and Caitey Lotz was a gread addition to the show. (I like Katie Cassidy, not a judgment on her. Just the writing of Laurel.)

Edit- Her not telling her dad is her biggest sin I think. If they kill him I'll be super pissed off.
