Ok, how long for a thawed chicken in the fridge?

I pulled it out for chicken soup.  It was fully thawed on Monday, but I wasn't able to make the soup on Tuesday.  Do I need to just roast it tonight?  I realllly want homemade soup, but I won't have time to make it until Sunday.

Sunday will probably be too long... Can you cook it/make part of the soup tonight and put it in the fridge? It should last til Sunday then.

Cook it or throw it back in the freezer.

You cannot re-freeze chicken or any type of meat. Once it's frozen and thawed you can either cook it within a day or two or just throw it away.

Yeah, what everyone else said. Roast it now. You can use the cooked meat Sunday in your soup.

Ditto the others. Roast it tonight, throw it in the fridge til Sunday, make soup!
