So I found this jeep on the side of the road yesterday and scooped it up for DD (don't worry, it was free, there was other crap piled up too). We gave it a bath and it is in really great condition. But, it's missing the battery and charger. A repair shop near by seems to think it will cost be about $100 to repair. A new one is about $300 so this is a good deal, no? Part of me thinks I should just leave it not working as she is happy just climbing in it and pretending she is in mama 2's jeep.

I'd leave it not working for now, then if/when you do replace the battery & charger, it'll be a whole new level of awesome for her. You could also maybe cut out the floorboard so she could push with her feet (not sure what's under there, though; I've never seen one of those in person).
