Awwww! That's beautiful! Do you sell your stuff on etsy? How long did it take you to learn to crochet?
No, I don't sell on Etsy. I think it'd be too much work. 90% of the stuff I make are gifts. Anything I've sold has mostly been to Nesties who have requested things, which is fun.
It doesn't take long to learn crochet at all. My friend showed me a couple of basic stitches, which I had to look up again on YouTube when I went home to practice, but from there it's pretty straightforward. Easier than knitting IMHO. You can totally learn from books and YouTube (I borrowed books from the library). The hardest part is learning how to read the shorthand used in patterns, which isn't very hard at all.
That's cool! I know how to knit, so maybe I'll try this as a winter hobby. Although I could never read knitting patterns and it took me WAY too long to make anything neat, so I gave up pretty fast.

If you already know how to knit, crochet should be no problem for you at all!
I have the opposite problem. Because I knit, I have such a hard time wrapping my head around only using one needle(hook). I try and try but I just can't do it.
But, you, Rock, are like a professional. Your projects always look perfect!
