The highlight... probably spending all the time with DS that I have been. He is starting preschool this fall and so we have been spending a lot of QT together. DH and I also had our first real vacation together since my first trimester, a 4 day trip to Bermuda.
Low- I am losing my job in September. My company is outsourcing my position (which makes sense, and I did recommend this as our strategy going forward, so I really have no one to blame)
I'm still looking forward to these next 2 weeks- I have a working vacation and DS and I have so many fun things planned before school starts.
Fall- I am under consideration for a new job (same company, different department) and I would be starting this fall. I am very hopeful yet trying not to get too excited about it.

HK and Tanzania will be fun!!
The nanny is leaving- she has a new little boy to take care of. She will, however, still be close to us, she's already invited to Christmas with us! We should see her and the new little boy for playdates now and then.

Sorry about your job, Punky. I hope that something else works out within the company for you.
What's been the highlight of your summer so far? Hmm, July ending, and me surviving two months of straight work-hell.
What are you still looking forward to? My brother's wedding in a couple of weeks (!), and the two weeks off I'm taking at the end of the month.
Anything excited planned in your Fall? Nothing exciting planned, but fall is my favorite time of year. We'll probably hit up the Big E one day, and we have our anniversary to look forward to in October.
What's been the highlight of your summer so far? Nothing special... just enjoying the time as a family.
What are you still looking forward to? Our trip to N Conway this weekend, my son's first birthday party next weekend & his actual birthday at the end of the month.
Anything exciting planned in your Fall? Not really... birthday season & lots of football watching.
