Global Mod Elections: Round 1

I surf GBCN while up with my newborn, so if we need to make sure most time slots are filled I would sadly be able to assist at 1am, 3am and 5am.

Is this posted on all boards? It occurs to me that maybe I'm only seeing it on CPE because on the app stickies are on a separate tab I don't usually think to check...

ITA a mod should be someone who is impartial on most things and calm enough to mediate if necessary. I vote ESD!!!!!!

No you are awesome...you were practically our mod on SO and helped us out before!

I tried getting SO a mod before TN went to hell but they kept brushing me off. Guess it doesn't really matter now.

I'll volunteer if you're trying to have a few different global mods from different boards. I'm from MN (now MF) and have been posting on TN since 2009. I went into lurking status for a while with my job changes, but with pb I can be one more since it blends in better with my work screens.

It looks like mods can edit on any board, but global mods can do way more. Banning (right?), creating new boards, stuff like that.

I'm confused because if this is the case, why do we even need more global mods?

I just want more than one or two people to be able to edit out someone's home address or full name if needed.

Yes, this is correct. I currently have it set so that mods can edit anywhere so that they can help take care of the boards without mods & delete personal info in an emergency, but once everything is set up & we have a few globals the mod powers will probably be limited again.

Right now we're looking for 3 global mods, two for GBCN and one for the baby boards.
