I picked up a piece of fabric in my office today and a mother effing mouse ran out of it. I haul ass onto the house.
dh: what's wrong? Me: mouse. Office. Help. Fitting. 10 minutes. Dh. Yeah, the miso has been sniffing around. Maybe I'll go pick up some traps. Me: silent deadly glare Dh:... or I set up the traps we have right now and check the hardware store for better ones tomorrow.
Remember last summer, dh? I AM NOT BREEZY ABOUT MICE.
I am convinced the woman who came for the appt. saw it. She left so quickly. I am so embarrassed.
God, I just went through this but I woke up in the middle of the night and found one in my bedroom! ? I had to wait until the morning to go get traps since my DS was in bed, so that was a fairly sleepless night. Thankfully I caught them all within about 12 hours after I set the traps and found where they were getting in but man, I am still worries every time I get home that there'll be more!
I hope you catch the little bugger/s and figure out how they're getting in asap for your sanity!

Omg we get them during harvest every single year. This year I think a pregnant mouse came in, because I caught her, and 6 babies. I ran out of traps at one point, and ended up using a towel to throw over the mouse, scooped it up and threw it outside to the cats. They enjoyed that. I felt bad for about 2 seconds, but hey...circle of life and all...
