Milestones? Teething, again, including waking up screaming. Separation anxiety/throwing a fit when I drop him off at daycare, again. "Reading" a lot, carrying books around, flipping pages, and "talking."
Funny story? Not really a funny story. But, he's been fake reading, I've been putting him to bed w/ a book and he "reads" to put himself to sleep. Tonight he was talking to himself in bed for like 10 minutes before he fell asleep.
Started Christmas shopping? Ideas? I'm thinking a basketball hoop for him, maybe a toy kitchen and/or food, maybe a small table/chair set. I would like to get professional pictures for the family.
Starting to walk, and started saying "Uh oh" last night. We go to the nutritionist doc today to check on weight gain. Hoping he's gained a pound in the last month, so we shall see!
Xmas shopping - we got him an anywhere chair, tegu blocks so far, and I plan to get him a larger-sized stuffed animal from costco. I'm considering some of the same things you are alias...but not the toy kitchen, just some of the food.
I have J at 11 months and M is 3yrs 11 months. This time next month I will have a 4yr old and a 1yr old. NUTS!
For milestones J is getting a little more willing to try walking. She Is pretty sturdy when up she just needs to take the chance and trust herself. I was hoping she would be walking by her 1st bday like M was but I'm not too sure.
No real funny stories. Being on sick kid lock down in the house the last 2 weeks hasn't left much for funny, it's been more pulling out of the hair.
I haven't started shopping but we are keeping it simple in gifts. We are doing the something to read, something you need, something you want and something to wear thing. I think I have everything mostly figured out accept for the want and need part. So clothes, books, and I don't know lol I"m sure M will get some sort of a doll or something princess or minnie related for her want.
