Anna has soccer twice a week, monday (6:10pm) and wednesday night (7:10pm). We skipped the last two weeks because we were OOT on vacation. Then Monday, it was super hot and the girls were all red and sweaty after daycare and I was tired and she didn't want to go and DH was working, so we wkipped again.
DH told me last night that he will work late again tonight. Sophia usually goes to bed at 7:15-7:30. It finishes around 8, sometimes a bit after, which means having her on the side of the field past her bedtime. By the time we come back home, it will be 8:30 (parking is far from the field, so there is a good walk). I could also bike there, in which case it is more fun, and Sophia can sit in the stroller while we are there, and we skip the walk part. But it would be a good 20 minutes, and we are expecting possible thunderstorms.
Ugh. WWYD? I am leaning towards goingm because I would feel guilty not to. Altough she doesn't exactly love soccer, and would rather just chill at home.
Take her if she's going to stay on the team. I actually feel very strongly about showing up for team events and long term work ethic and spotsmanship and stuff. Like, weirdly strong.
Well, she is registered for the whole summer...elle, you are right. They are just doing practices and then a 15 minutes game (no points counting or anything) but still. I agree it is important as a team member to be there.
