I was at the acupuncturist for nearly 3 hours! Turns out all I have to do is open my eyes and he'll take the needles out. The nice part is that we had a little time to chat afterwards.
Now it's time to make packing and shopping lists! Maybe some dinner first though...
Also, Carmen and River are both adorable. Even though River is also a pizza-stealing, ranch-spilling jerk.

I dunno, I may have misread him. He was chatty, approached me at the party, and asked questions. We both kept it going. It was nice but I don't know that it will go anywhere.

I swear someone just needs to trick the two of you into being on a date already or something. I think it won't go anywhere because you're both uncertain and don't want to make the first move. I could be wrong, of course. But you keep going back to this "nothing will happen and I'm okay with that" place and I keep wondering if that's not just a defense mechanism. I want you to be happy!
My parents are driving me nuts. They're so worried I'm going to get cold in NJ and that will somehow, I don't know, make things worse? Even though I'm on a billion medications. They were saying that they were going to schedule a taxi to pick me up from the airport. I would much rather take the damn subway, which I've already told them. I know this makes me weird. Then it was all "but what if it's raining?" and "but you'll be outside after you get off the train!" and shit like that.
Yes, I haven't been this sick in years, but holy hell I'm not some delicate flower that's going to keel over at the first sign of weather! I'm more prepared than my mother because I actually have a hat, gloves, and a warm wool coat (the kind I can't wear often here). They are nuts. It's not even supposed to snow while I'm there!

I think it is a defense mechanism. I am afraid of screwing it up and getting hurt. You might be right about the uncertainty on both sides.
Funny story from tonight: he broke the lane when it was his turn to bowl. He threw a strike and the lane went dead. He came back to the couch and was all "That's it, I'm done!". LOL.
Muddled & cuddlyevil a car from JFK to NJ? Sounds like traffic hell to me. If they offer again I'll take them up on it, maybe.
Was JFK cheaper than EWR? How unexpected. Traffic hell will depend on the time of day, but you are right. You may be better off taking LIRR to Penn and then hopping on NJTransit. I would still probably take the car if someone else was paying, though.

Yes, flying into JFK was cheaper, but I'm flying out of EWR because that was cheaper too. That's how I got a flight for under $500!
My plan was LIRR to Penn, then switching to NJ Transit and changing trains at Secaucus. The other option is the A train to the Path to NJ Transit. It helps me feel like I'm home to do all that.

Awesome price!
LIRR is WAY faster. What day are you coming in? Tomorrow or Monday? Check the LIRR schedule, but you will wait long time for the A train on a Sunday.

I'll be arriving mid-day Monday. I'll definitely check the schedule.
