I recently started using PepperPlate. The only thing I don't like about it is that I have to make all my updates to the actual website in order for everything (the app on my tablet and my phone app) to sync together, which is really stupid.
They're offering to back up your lists and recipes in downloadable zip file sent to your email, but that seems about as useful as if they carved it into a stone tablet and delivered it to my doorstep.

I use Pepperplate too. I don't have any issues with syncing between phone & computer, but sometimes the shopping list just fails to add an item if it can't automatically determine the category (and it disappears, doesn't simply leave it uncategorized!), which is super awesome when I'm adding a bunch of stuff and can't figure out what didn't actually make it on the list.
Pepperplate has recipes, which you can enter manually or auto fill from certain websites, meal planning section, and shopping list. So it's fine, but it's not a GREAT app due to bugs.
