I am looking for some good labels to use for DS's bottles and other items when he starts daycare in a few weeks.
I like the idea of the Name Bubbles because they have the erasable write on labels which seem handy for writing the date on his bottles everyday. They are not all that MM though...

I use rubber bands for her bottles that I get off the celery and asparagus we buy. I wrote DD's name and then numbered them instead of writing the dates on, so the daycare ladies know to go in order. I don't label her clothes or that stuff, but she does have a little cubbie with her name on it where her stuff is kept. She's at an in home center, and there's only one other baby though. Not sure if you have to label absolutely everything where you're going.
I used name bubbles and think they're great. My DD is not in daycare anymore but I use them for lots of things (jackets, water bottles, etc.). However, when she was in daycare they had their own stickers that had to be dated and used each day for bottles and food.
I give name bubbles to all of my neices and nephews when they start school and so far all of the families have loved them! There are a few other companies that do the same thing, so you could look into those too.

Another vote for NB. They really last but I've also been able to get them off tags to consign clothes later on. I love the ones that go in shoes. Those are the bom-diggity.

I have inchbug orbit labels for bottles and sippies and namebubbles for some other things. I don't label everything, though. So far nothing has gotten lost - he has a cubby.

Our daycare just supplies painters tape in the kid's assigned color. We have to date everything so I would have to put a new label on everything every day anyway.

We have a set of clothing labels. We do not put them on all her clothes, just the ones we are more concerned about getting back.
They provide us with labels for the bottles, they have a different color for every day of the week. We have not found the need for any additional bottle labels.

We love our NB. We got the daycare pack & it's been plenty. Also I've found you can reuse the clothing labels a few times if you peel them off carefully.
I love them. I wait until they have a discount code (i signed up for emails) because they are pricey. But they last and can be reused- I peel off labels from clothes she's outgrown and reuse.
