I work thanksgiving and we're doing a breakfast potluck in the morning. Someone's making a breakfast casserole, what's a good idea? I'm going grocery shopping today.
Biscuits and gravy. Put the gravy in a crockpot with biscuits on the side. Of course, you could do something healthy like fruit, yogurt and granola. Oatmeal in the crockpot with various toppings.

Cinnamon raisin bread cut into squares and put into a baking dish. Mix eggs, milk and cinnamon and pour over bread. Soak over night. Bake. Pour melted butter and sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake more. Top with fresh raspberries. Amazing.

God I love biscuits and gravy.
My suggestion was going to be oven baked French toast, both my recipes are pretty similar to @blonde407 except I use brioche or challah and top w/ homemade pie filling and bourbon spiked whipped cream. Or you could do stuffed French toast (grilled cheese sandwiches filled with mascarpone, topped with fruit of some description).
Fruit salad. I always bring this in for work breakfasts. Everyone thinks of sugary or savory things but not often do people think if things to balance it out.
I bring in a bagel tray, some places around here sell them made up already. But in case not, go to the specialty store and buy a fun variety, cut into quarters, arrange pretty in a tray with cream cheese, butter, and jelly and voila!
