On Monday afternoon, I bought some fancy cheese. It's a soft, creamy cheese, kind of in the brie family, I guess. (Robiola, for those curious.)
This morning while rummaging around in the fridge, I couldn't find it. I then realized that I never took it out of my bag.
My first instinct was to throw it away because ewwwwwwww. But it was $13! And it occurred to me that I leave butter out all the time, so why is this different?
It is getting stuffed into dates and dried figs, and topped with a couple pomegranate seeds for a parade snack. I have been looking forward to this more than the dinner itself.

When can I come over to help eat these delicious snacks?!
I know nothing about cheese safety, so I can't comment.
But I bought some cheese the other day (just a small $2 wedge from the "scrap" bin) but we haven't seen it since. I'm hoping it just didn't end up in the bag on accident....
It's amazing because you never know when MM will surprise you.
I was firmly expecting everyone to tell me that I will die if I eat this. I am nearly always on Team Yes, but in this instance, I was waffling enough that a solid showing from the No camp would have persuaded me.

Your sister needs to move back here so you have an excuse to visit.
DH and I bought a pack of vacuum sealed mozzarella balls on Sunday a week and a half ago. A week later (Saturday), we discovered such said cheese in the back of his vehicle... It was pretty cold that whole week. Probably 25 - 40 degrees each day. DH drives an hour to work and its a hatchback vehicle (so the whole car interior warms up).
Would you eat it?? We put the cheese in the fridge and haven't opened it yet... We're in the "if it smells fine/looks fine, we'll eat it" camp.

I voted yes on the OP, but I'm gonna have to give this one a no vote.
