We'll all move over here and this can just become the new B&S board I kinda, sorta understand why you want your own sub-board, but think it would be a lot more fun to have more people contributing on a single board rather than duplicates of the same topics on two different boards. The more the merrier Branch out. Give us a try and "meet" some new people. We're fun, I promise.

If you delete the sub-board all these posts are going to go back on MM, not BS. That's the entire reason people wanted the sub-board created.

Again, 5-6 page flame posts about there being too much makeup talk on MM have happened before. And it did not deter people from talking about makeup. When the people who did most of the makeup posts made an effort to stop posting on MM they got paged constantly and then other people complained that the makeup posts went away.

Now there's a sub-board. And if people want to mix the makeup posts back in with MM, they can do that too. I posted instructions for doing so on the MM main page.

Huh? Calm the F down. I'm just inviting you to hang out with us on the S&B board. I don't give a shit if your posts are mixed in with MM posts or in a sub-board, but I do think that if you girls are interested in makeup, that it would be fun to have you over on S&B. That's it.

Perfectly calm here. Just explaining the year long history that led to the formation of this sub-board.

A lot of posters prefer to remain on their home board and post about a variety of topics, even though another board exists that better suits those topics. The fact that we can now filter them out should we choose to do so is a benefit of moving to a more customizable board.

I post on B&S (or did on F&B on TN). Actually most of us who will post on the sub-board at least lurk there. But makeup posts are going to happen on MM regardless and there are users on the main board who appreciate the ability to filter them. That's the reason for the sub-board, not to close ourselves off.

No clue, but I've only been over there for about six months, and didn't have this issue. Perhaps you should give the board another try. There are quite a few new people, and some former lurkers who now participate now that we're on proboards. Several new girls posted today and received multiple responses.

Whatever, it's just a makeup board, lol. Arguing about it is silly, and I was simply trying to be welcoming because I think it would be more fun with more people.
