C has only been at the CDC for a month. There are three teachers in his room, and we'd like to get them each a small Christmas gift (probably in the $20-$25 range). We're not allowed to bring any outside food into the center, so food gifts are out.
WWYD? Target gift card? Restaurant? Something else?
UPDATE: Our base Starbucks (in the BX food court) not only TAKES AAFES gift cards, but you get a 10% DISCOUNT when you use an AAFES gift card (or military star card) for your purchase. WIN.
Our Target is kind of far away from where a lot of people live around here (it's at "the beach" near the vacation high-rises, not near where most of the normal people live, and requires a toll to go over the bridge), but I hadn't thought of AAFES gift cards being used at the food vendors on base -- that's a good idea. We have a Starbucks on base and I think they could use it there, as well as the other places in the food court.
Is $25 a good amount? I'd probably do more if he'd been in the room all year, but by Christmas he'll have been there less than 2 months...

For some reason, I think the Starbucks on base are the one place you can't use them, but I could be mistaken. Maybe a scouting trip to the base's Starbucks to ask (and get yourself a yummy drink) is in order?

Good point. I think maybe they just don't take Starbucks gift cards? But you're right, I definitely need to go get a Peppermint Mocha to find out, you know, as research.
