"She lost to someone she really shouldn't have lost to." I find that....interesting.
I do too because I can't help but wonder if it will happen again. ITA '08 was her time. HRC got ditched by some of Bill Clinton's people (David Axelrod, I forget other names). I have long wondered what went on behind the scenes and whether or not people have moved past it.
ETA: and I snorted at the Shaq comment. I love his analogy about letting the economy go. It's an interesting thought experiment about what would have happened...

I think there were a lot of bridges burned in '08. Maybe 8 years is long enough to have rebuilt them. Who knows.

yah it was never clear to me whether something happened just before or during the campaign (or maybe nothing happened) or if Obama's candidacy itself was due to some D insiders not wanting HRC to win. Of course I prefer the latter theory because I'm biased and love intrigue but it really did puzzle me as an outsider why Obama got so much support for the presidency when he was so young and inexperienced compared to HRC. He would have been the perfect VP choice at the time. Who knows.

I remember reading something, somewhere about the Clintons trying to call their chips to get delegates, but for the life of me I don't know where (or when!) I read it. I seem to remember something about him motherfucking a bunch of people. I'm going to have to see what I can find. I hope I'm not making it up.
