? about selling a house privately

We are currently renting out h's house, but someone we know is interested in buying it.  We could just work through an attorney, rather than a realtor, correct?

Did you do an inspection?

We bought without a realtor. We knew the sellers, and had an inspection done. We also got a deal partially because the sellers did not have to pay a real estate commission.
