Holy Crap, I need a Vacation.

I am thinking Italy. Because it's been ten years, and it would be a lot more fun than going to my High School Reunion. Maybe taking my old BFF's that went with me the first time and their H's and SO's.

The thought of having nothing better to do than sit on a street cafe and drink wine with my husband and good old friends... *sigh*

My love for wine and pinterest hasn't helped.

Space A is your friend and if I remember correctly, you're in NJ (I can edit this out if you want). McGuire flies overseas A LOT and it'd be free. If your DH is deployed through then, travel out in the fall after school starts so you can travel with ease

Yes, We haven't tried Space-A yet, but we will sooner or later. How can we not?

You can travel without him if he's deployed. Not sure if you knew that but if you have the time and getting away is really something you want, I'd recommend it.

I flew Space A a lot when P was deployed and we flew around when he got back from his deployment as well. Nothing beats free. Even if you have to shiver on a C-17 from time to time

I won't have time this deployment with a job and school, but the idea is nice. I am totally going to save up for a trip out there though.

Me too! Every time we talk about going on vacation some huge unexpected expense pops up and then that idea gets taken off the table

:-( Sucks that you aren't able to go right away, but I say go for it as soon as reasonably possible (you too VC!). DH and I had our vacation at the beginning of July. It was fairly short and not planned too far in advance, but it was totally worth the trouble and the money.
