I have a lot of thoughts but not a lot of time to get them all out right now. But here's some stuff.
First, I felt like they (the show and actors) gave to much away in the interviews and previews/promos leading up to this episode. I knew just about every big thing that was going to happen including the ending. I was really annoyed going into it. However, that didn't diminish actually seeing it happen. That last scene was some really good acting. I felt like there was some real emotion coming from Team Arrow. Stephen Amell knocked it out last night. Those scenes with Felicity at the end? Be still my heart. Christ.
Second, I felt like this wasn't the best time to work in Laural and her mom. I'm a big Alex Kingston fan. But I felt like her emotion was lacking when she was standing by her daughters grave. Laural was pretty emotional earlier when telling Thea (hello foreshadowing) but it didn't work with her mom for some reason.
I'm really excited in how everything is going to come together in the next half of the season. loonylunalovegood Without giving too much away- He'll be fine. They aren't going to kill him off.
I thought Laurel and her mom fell flat too. I just dont really like Laurel right now.I really cant believe she told Thea but she wont tell her dad. I get that she thinks it will kill him, but come on.
Laurel is the most frustrating character on that whole show. I've never been happy with what they were doing with her. Which is too bad because I like Katie Cassidy.
That last scene was AMAZING!!!! I can't decide whether Oliver will visit the Pit of Lazarus or whether Felicity's new boss will become the new Arrow. Either way, abs galore!

There is zero chance of Ray Palmer becoming the Arrow. Subzero even.
I'm not surprised about Oliver dying. Or "dying." We'll see! I teared up when Felicity and Oliver were saying good-bye. I love them!!! And when are they going to make her Oracle dammit?! Minus being paralyzed though.
Yeah, if they have Ra's Al Ghul, they should definitely have the Lazerus pit. Even IF Oliver was able to kill him, he'd just go back into the pit. Come on, he has been alive for centuries!
