If it wasn't so uncool, I would wear a fanny pack while walking my dog. I don't have enough pockets to hold my phone, keys, poop bags, and treats! Bringing a purse feels ridiculous, too, so I just juggle it all in my hands. When I am an old lady I am going to do so many uncool things and not care one bit, but for now I suffer through.

Haha, pinkroses, I feel your pain. I often think I must look like a homeless person when I take the dog out. I usually take him out first thing in the morning, so I just grab whatever is lying around. Which sometimes means I throw on rain boots even when it's sunny, so I don't have to dig around for shoes. I also wear a hoodie, even when it's 300 degrees out. I claim it's for the pockets, but it's really so I don't feel obligated to put on a bra.
I have to go to Chicago for work next week, and I confess that I am looking forward to getting the hell out of here for a few days. I need a break from everyone and everything. Including my husband, whom I love dearly, but who needs to find an effing job already so I can have one day in the house to myself. (For other reasons, too, obviously. But after being home sick for 3 days with him around, this is first and foremost in my mind at the moment .) He went out for drinks with a friend last week, so I was home alone for a few hours. It was blissful. And he also keeps it Siberia cold in our house, so I am very much looking forward to sleeping without 14 blankets (and the dog) piled on top of me.

LOL, yes! I have done that before. The hoodie pocket is very convenient too, you're right. One thing to look forward to when I get the end of summer blues, I guess.
Rock, I hope your MIL is understanding and doesn't expected to be hosted/entertained.
SCM, I totally have those days where I think what I'm wearing is fine then I get to the office and am like hm, maybe I should have put on something else. Sucks that today is the day your boss came in.
Hmmm... can't think of a confession. I'm exhausted from being sick all week but I was too lame to take a sick day because I was out a few days last week for a funeral and I felt guilty taking more time off. I kind of hate my job that I feel like they watch and judge hours, etc, so closely (even though its an office where it is not like they have to). Sigh. Looking forward to sleeping all weekend.
Are you guys doing a get together? I'd love to join you some time! (when I'm not sick!) I've decided I need new friends because mine are lame.
