Anyone watch Empire Girls?

I discovered this show this week and have watched about 6 episodes. I really like it! Adrienne and Julissa - love their friendship, fashion, sense of humor and ambition. And they're beautiful! I also like the "reality" of the show in that they've been best friends for years and weren't just thrown together to act like best friends like some of the other reality shows.

Anyone else watching? I didn't know anything about it until I saw a commercial during Tia and Tamera. Which btw is a good reality show as well. (If you can handle all of the constant of the new mom talk. )

Man, I continue to fall for more and more reality shows! At least it makes summer tv more interesting for me than it was years ago when all I watched were sitcom reruns!

It's on Style. Adrienne was one of the Cheetah Girls and Julissa is a tv personality who has done various gigs, most notably hosting 106 & Park. Their "story" is two Latina girls trying to make it in New York and follow their dreams. Adrienne is working on a solo album, clothing line, nail polish line, auditioning for acting gigs, etc etc. Julissa wants to be a talk show host. They are both 28 and single so that is discussed a lot as well.

Julissa's accent drove me crazy, I couldn't make it past episode 1

That's too bad. I guess I am used to various accents from being around people from a lot of different places... Interesting though because in a recent episode she started taking classes to work tone her accent down to help her get more gigs.

I love it. They're funny and real and a little annoying at times but all in all, an entertaining show.
