I'm a DD, so I need pretty good support. I've been running with cheap ON bras, which are awesome for support (I can't remember the name of the model, they have one model that is very supportive) but they get soaked, and I'm starting to worry about chaffing. Is it possible for a bra to really stay dry during long runs?
Good question, I really like the Moving Comfort Fiona...it gets damp maybe, but doesn't really move around so I've never worried about or experienced any chafing :-)
I highly recommend looking into it - it's probably my favorite sports bra ever!
Emsumm they have them on sierratrading.com, certain colors the other day were on sale for about $20 each...that's where I usually get mine. I usually go up a band size, and down a cup size in them. (i.e., I normally wear 38DD in regular bras, so I buy 40D in the Fiona)
I got one like this from Kohls and it is made of that wicking material, so it doesn't stay completely dry, but better than cotton/spandex. I love how it fits too.
I also run in the Fiona bra. Definitely go up in band size - I wear a 38D and buy a 40D. They usually have them on 6pm.com but I have bought most of mine from sierratradingpost. You can almost always find them somewhere for under $25.

Moving Comfort bras have worked amazing for me. Also I use Body Glide under my bra and heart rate monitor strap to keep from chafing, it happened once and that was more than enough times for me to learn I didn't want it to happen again.
