And I'm loving it. I know it's ridiculous at times, but I still love it. One of the best things is that Coulson is so not the typical bad ass hero. He looks like he should be the bumbling idiot, but he really kicks some ass.

I love this show. I love his dry little comments.
And Clark Gregg is on my laminated list too.
Me too! He is going to be at Emerald City Comi Con! I'm so excited!!!

Have you seen the Marvel movies? Coulson has always been dry wit, very stoic kind of guy. Always put together. I heart him so much.
I think it was really wise of Marvel to launch a show centered around Coulson. This show isn't my usual style but I've been enjoying it and H will even watch it with me (we have very few shows we enjoy together).
I adore Coulson. He's the best part of the show. Clark Gregg seems totally different IRL.
IRL as in, on his own in the Marvel universe and not a bit part in a superhero movie, or do you actually know him IRL.
The difference between the movie Coulson, like I in Iron Man, and the AoS Coulson is what I'm talking about. From the movies I wouldn't have expected him to kick so much ass and be so hands on in the missions. I was expecting him to be the pencil pusher. I love that they broke the mold and are having the middle age, balding, father figure kicking ass and taking names.
