My son has woken up every half hour since I put him down. Screaming his head off. Requiring intense soothing. He is not feverish or coughing or in any capacity ill, that I can tell. I've investigated him thoroughly. There doesn't appear to be anything identifiable.
My husband is sleeping in the guestroom with earplugs due to his man cold. I have no backup. I'm going to be awake all.fucking.night.

If he wakes again (ha ha ha. I'm an optimist. I know it's when) I'll sock him some ibuprofen.
Did I mention that when I went to tuck in L tonight we had to talk about guns, if they kill people, are there bad guys in our city, do they have guns, and how do we keep the bad guys out of our house? Oh, and if I drank coffee when I was pregnant with her could she taste it and, if so, why would I keep drinking it because I know she hates coffee.
Ugh, I was up with DD last night while she cried. She's very congested though, so I could tell she was just struggling to breathe. Maybe try elevating his mattress on one side? Do you have a humidifier in his room?
Best of luck to you. She's asleep now here, but I'm waiting... I know as soon as I sit down to pump she'll scream.
How old is he? Forgive me for asking since I have been absent. I agree with baby Tylenol or the like. My mom did Chamomile tea mixed with water in a bottle slightly warm to help tummy aches too when I was little. And a camp out on his bedroom floor. I hope you both get some rest!
