Tipping building concierge in London

Hi everyone,
Does anyone know if the concierge in The UK are typically given gifts/money during Christmas? We moved from NYC and did tip there but I just want to make sure it's done here too! They actually gave my son a small box of chocolates all wrapped up last night. I thought that was very sweet.

I usually leave a bunch of whatever cookies I've baked with the concierges at some point during the holidays, but we've never tipped. A token would be a nice gesture though.

I've tipped my concierge via giving a bottle of wine and a bit of cash (like my cleaner).
