DS has been super fussy at night. I assumed colic and started him on gerber soothe drops. They worked for about a week and now he's back to screaming each night. Today he's been crying while eating (bm thru bottle). Any idea what this could be? He's been pooping fine.
I was told we could give tylenol after 2 months, but I don't know if that's different for preemies. I might call and ask if they haven't given you instructions on that yet.
He sleeps in RnP or bouncer during day. He still gets fussy in car seat.
Is he on his back at night when he's fussy? Make an appointment to discuss an ear infection or reflux.
Ya I'll call Monday.
When he gets fussy I lay him on my chest and then can get him to fall asleep.he sleeps on his back during the day fine. Its just evenings/late night thats hell.
DD is going to be 12 weeks Tuesday and she will scream while eating. If it's time to eat and she's fussing I'll offer a bottle and she will eat for a few seconds then scream like I was hurting her or something. If I take the bottle away she freaks out. I give it back she stops and eats for a few seconds....then screams again. This repeats until I give up and just let her scream. After maybe 20 minutes she will finally calm down and eat.
She will fall asleep only on my chest. I've got no answers but sorry, I'm going through the same confusing thing. Maybe Ill call the Dr also on Monday.
So the crying was just during the day and he had a temp of 99.4 before bed. The next feeding temp was normal and he's been eating fine since. So must have just not felt good and whatever it was passed.
