Answer all the questions - Are the presents the kids think from you wrapped or unwrapped? From Santa? In the stockings? And do you put the wrapped ones under the tree before Christmas or does everything come out in an explosion for Christmas morning, or some combination?
We've decided to wrap and put "ours" under the tree ahead of time, put the unwrapped Santa ones out on Christmas morning, and to not wrap stocking gifts. I like the anticipation of them seeing the gifts under the tree, and I'm sure seeing the big gifts they asked for from Santa out when they come downstairs is going to be super fun.
Presents from us are wrapped and put under the tree. Presents from Santa are assembled and unwrapped (because the elves make them!!!) and displayed near the tree Christmas morning. Santa also fills the stockings, all unwrapped.
santa ain't got no time to wrap - he has to deliver gifts all around the world!

Everything is wrapped, Santa has special paper. I am thinking the kitchen will be unwrapped but I might change my mind on that yet, we'll see.
I am leaving the boys stocking unwrapped this year only because I went a little overboard and we will be unwrapping or hours now I think. Once they're a little older sticking a will be wrapped too, that was always my favourite part of Christmas!
All presents from us are wrapped in paper for each person. So, this year, all of her gifts are wrapped in snowman paper and dh's in snowflake paper. (My mom did this and didn't label so in case we found a gift before Christmas, we wouldn't know who it was for until she told us Christmas morning which paper was ours.) I don't wrap Santa gifts and we don't do stockings. Everything is put out Christmas Eve after everyone is in bed and she's asleep. I like the surprise and magic of everything magically appearing.
Everything is wrapped and under the tree already. Ada doesn't get the santa thing so I'm not doing any santa gifts this year. Things in the stocking aren't wrapped. I'm the future I will probably do a wrapped Santa gift per kid.
Everything is wrapped except stocking gifts. I'm not sure yet what will be from me and what will be from Santa. I will put the gifts out under the tree Christmas morning this year, only because I'm not sure how much patience she will have this year. We won't do gifts until 10 after breakfast so I'm trying to avoid a battle. Next year I would like to set out everything on Christmas Eve.

I am a member of the Santachurch of Devonpow. I have "stolen" all of her rules. Growing up, Santa gifts were wrapped but I love doing them unwrapped now!
I don't understand wrapping stocking stuffers. Isn't the stocking kind of already the wrapping?
We've never done special paper for Santa, and I'm really surprised Abby's never once questioned the whole santa thing, what with how casual we are about it.
We - I wrap everything. Nothing is put out until Christmas Eve until after he goes to bed. This year Santa is taking credit for everything except the big gift. I kind of like the idea of not having to wrap stocking stuffers though. They're such a pain. Filing that one away for next year!
Ideally presents from Santa will be unwrapped. However, since Audrey doesn't understand the concept of requesting a present this year, she is asking Santa for a "green present" so I will use green wrapping paper for her Santa present.
This poll is making me very happy. I (heart) Christmas.
Stocking stuffers are unwrapped, all other presents wrapped, everything magically appears overnight on Christmas Eve. I'd never heard of doing special wrapping paper for Santa before this board, but I'm doing it.

It's very anticlimactic to just dump everything on the floor, unwrapping is the best part!
This year we have them all out now and wrapped. We didn't differentiate santa vs mom/dad because she doesn't care. Stockings unwrapped.
I think in the future we will put them out after bed on Christmas Eve- my parents did that and I remember how exciting it was to run out Christmas morning and see all the presents.
All presents from us and Santa are wrapped, including stocking stuffers because half the fun is unwrapping! Only the one from us will get a gift tag. The ones from Santa are in different wrapping paper for each kid (frozen for Emmy's gifts and Jake for Luke's gifts) so eventually the handwriting doesn't give away that there's no Santa.
We bought too much to fit under the tree but we will attempt it and have things spill out.
Emerson Kate, born 38w5d on 4/6/12 at 6:02 p.m., 5 lbs 13 oz and 18 3/4 inches. Lucas Matthew, born 39w5d on 4/11/14 at 8:20 a.m., 7 lbs 4 oz and 20 inches.
Currently, all presents are wrapped and under the tree. There's special Santa paper, but she's actually not bad about getting into the presents, since I told her she had to wait until Christmas to open them, so I just tossed everything under there. Next year, Santa toys will appear Christmas eve, after she goes to bed. Plush toys are unwrapped. Stockings are unwrapped.
Presents from Santa and stocking (also Santas job) unwrapped. Everything else is from us or friends/family are wrapped. Everything except Santa and stocking go out as soon as they are bought and wrapped.
No presents put out until after she goes to bed on Christmas Eve. Growing up that's how it was and all gifts were from Santa. I'm keeping some of the bigger stuff unwrapped / put together.
