-"New" button indicating when someone has added to a thread you've already read
-General feeling of trailblazing and sticking it to The Man

Cons:
Can't put _ in username

Con: I can't figure out how to do an avatar and no one is telling me! I liked the old Nest format.

Pro: It seems a ton of people have made their way over from the Nest. This format does not suck giant balls. I expect much less policing.

HOLY SHIT this board is amazing!

If you click that "New" button it will take you right to the newest post so you don't have to scroll through ones you've already read.

I was skeptical, too, but now am kind of liking it.

Pros:
- TN was getting on my nerves with their unresponsiveness and ads (do we have them here, too? I haven't seen them yet)
- This format is better than the new TN one
- It doesn't take 50 years to load
- When a thread goes onto multiple pages, you can just click on "page 2" without having to scroll through the whole first page that you've already read!!!!!!!!!! Yes!!! I think that feature alone is going to increase my productivity on my dissertation by about 25%.

Cons:
- I'm afraid we're going to lose a lot of people :-(

I like the "quick reply" feature at the bottom. Don't like that there doesn't seem to be a way to hide posts you've already read. I liked doing that on the old nest. Made it feel less cluttered.

You should be able to if you go to your profile and change your Display Name.

If you go to Profile at the top, then Modify Profile once you get there you can add your avatar/siggy.
