XP - Xbox One games

I got DH an Xbox One for Christmas. I now regret it, lol. Any recommendations for games we could play together? It seems like most of the games he's picked up so far are the single player shooter games (Halo, Assassins Creed) that I'm not into and can't play with him anyway.

I'm not a real gamer, by which I mean, I suck. Like, a lot. I'm basically a child when it comes to picking out games. We're also still rocking an Xbox 360, so bear that in mind. I tried to cross-reference and find similar games in One, but I haven't played on it so no real idea.

That said, I love playing the Lego games. DH loves playing with me no matter the game and he enjoys playing them for a while, but he doesn't get that "I NEED to play this" mind set that he does for the more complex shooter games. HP is my favorite, but that's my 'home' fandom. We also have all the superhero and Star Wars ones and they're still pretty fun.

I love playing Mortal Kombat. We have MK vs. DC Universe and I love playing as Wonder Woman. They don't have the DC version for Xbox One, but they do have a general MK. It's a good button mashing game that we can still get competitive over, especially because he hasn't played MK in forever so he doesn't know all the combos and I can occasionally pull out a button mash combo that will kick his ass. It's good fun.

I'm really no help after that. I did better on the Wii than I do on the Xbox.
