Yes! I mean I remember making fun (in my head) of her stupid ugly awful bathing suit. Really, I was jealous of how she looked at it. But in my head I thought "EWWW. who does she think she is wearing that shade of YELLOW!".

And when we were in college I got so sick of this conversation:

family friend: where are you going to school wildswans?
wildswans: School in Seattle, WA.
ff: ohhhh.....you know it rains there???!!!

ff: wildswans cousin where are YOU going to school?
ws cousin: xxx!!!! squeee!!!! And I'm in a SORORITY!! EEE!!
ff: Yay! That's amazing. YOU ARE THE BEST.

Ok, so it didn't go quite like that. But they did often comment on the weather of the state where my school is located. And they clapped and applauded her school.
