Ours usually come down sometime between the 1st and the first weekend following NYD.
We took most items down today. Our tree was SO dry toward the end, that it didn't feel safe turning the lights on. LOL
The wreath on our door is wintery, so it will stay up. (Simple berries.) I do like to represent the change in seasons within the home, so I'm going to figure something out to hold us over until Feb/March. I don't want to go from fall decorations, to Christmas, to nothing.
Spring/summer the house is so airy and bright. Sometimes we just have fresh flowers on our steps or in hanging pots. But other than that, no seasonal decor for that time of year. I keep our sliding glass doors open most of the time, so the chirping of the birds and blossoms feel like they're part of the house. Time to search Pinterest for a generic winter theme.
I'm only leaving mine up until Sunday because my dad and stepmom are coming up to visit. normally, I probably would have started taking things down yesterday or today.

I like snowmen, pinecones, and berry-type decor to leave up through the winter.
