How far along are you/how old is your LO? DS is 3.5 weeks
Current vents, randoms, or AWs? Tomorrow is my due date which is crazy to think that I could still be pregnant. DS will be 1 month old when I could have been 41 weeks.
Any awesome or terrible Christmas presents this year? DH got me some awesome Texans shoes and a Texans charm bracelet.
What are your New Year's resolutions? Keep breastfeeding/pumping until 1 year, tighten up the post-pregnancy body, and replace the flooring in my house.
Current vents, randoms, or AWs? I'm anxiously waiting for my Panorama test results and the wait is killing me. I think it's worse than the 2WW.
Any awesome or terrible Christmas presents this year? MH got me a record player so I can play my mom's old albums.
What are your New Year's resolutions? To have a healthy pregnancy. I've never had a good relationship with food and I don't want to lose my mind with this.
Any other updates for us? We accepted an offer on our house and are currently in attorney review. I'm so stressed about it and I'm scared that it's going to fall through. If it doesn't, than my move to Rhode Island is real and I have to find a place to live in another state and coordinate closings!!
sassafrass you should call! It's been awhile, so I bet they have it and are just behind on making phone calls due to the holidays. I called about mine and it was in...I think since everything was normal, I was at the bottom of the call list.
1. 26.5 weeks 2. I find out today if I have GD (pretty sure I do). We had a 3D ultrasound last week, which was completely amazing. And our hospital tour is this weekend. 3. Lots of great gifts! We got a little bomber jacket/flight outfit for the baby, which is adorable. H got me some pretty necklaces and earrings. 4. I have lots of New Year's resolutions, but living on a budget and paying off the credit card is the biggie.

You called your OBGYN? I don't want to be so pushy since the holidays fell in the middle. Technically it's only been 8 or 9 working days since I had it done. The website said 7-10 and the woman who drew the blood said 14.
How far along are you/how old is your LO? C is 6.5 weeks old.
Current vents, randoms, or AWs? I'm loving maternity leave and dreading going back to work at the end of the month. I really wanted to take 12 weeks, but can't justify it financially with my new job, since I only get paid for the first six weeks I'll have summers off now though, so that will be very nice. My mom is watching C, so he'll be in great hands, but I'll miss him like crazy and will be counting down the days until the end of May.
My AW is that breastfeeding and pumping are both going really well. I love the bonding time with C when I feed him, and it's nice building up a milk stash for when I go back to work. We are still cluster feeding at night sometimes, but he has been sleeping 6.5-7 hours so it's worth it!
Any awesome or terrible Christmas presents this year? I got some cute nursing shirts from my parents and H got a bike trailer to take C out on bike rides. Nothing terrible, but we did get a wall clock from my parents that is very NMS, but I know it'll hurt their feelings if we don't hang it up, so we're still trying to find a place to put it.
What are your New Year's resolutions? Breastfeed until C's first birthday Start running again and run 5k next summer/fall Lose the IF and baby weight (goal is to lose 30 pounds)
Any other updates for us? I'm going to the OB on Wednesday for my PP appt and I'm still debating what to do about birth control. I never thought I'd be having that conversation after all we went through to get and stay pregnant, but I also don't want any chance of Irish twins or two under 2.
Current vents, randoms, or AWs? AW: had my NT scan on Wed and baby looks like a baby! Vent: my whole family, my side, DH's, DH himself, keeps using the female pronoun when referring to the baby. I know no one wants to call a baby "it" but until we know, that's the way it should be. I feel like a lot of people will be disappointed if the baby turns out a boy. Me, I have no gut feelings one way or the other.
Any awesome or terrible Christmas presents this year? Mostly awesome. A new computer from DH. My sister didn't get me anything.
What are your New Year's resolutions? To be a better friend, and improve my social skills.
Any other updates for us? I got over $200 worth of maternity tops a couple days ago for about $78. My local motherhood maternity had a huge clearance sale on spring/summer stuff.
How far along are you/how old is your LO? DS is abt 4.5 months old.
Current vents, randoms, or AWs? I love the balance of being back at work. My boobs are pump-shy, though, so I'm not keeping up just pumping at work. I had been sending 3oz bottles and could juuust keep up, but he fell off the chart for weight and the pedi said I should be sending more like 5oz. I'm doing 4.5oz now, and have had to add a MOTN pump session. SO painful and unfair when the baby is such a good sleeper and is sound asleep but I'm getting up anyway. *shakes fist*
Any awesome or terrible Christmas presents this year? Baby got spoiled rotten. The amt of clothing he has is STAGGERING. lol
What are your New Year's Resolutions? I'mma do my best to keep this kid alive. And try to work on my patience/temper. I KNOW I'm a crazy person, but I'm already having a breakdown by the time my brain is like "uh, calm the frick down. You just dropped the remote. Cursing at the top of your lungs is not a normal or appropriate reaction," it's too late. Lol
How far along are you/how old is your LO? I'm 11w2d today.
Current vents, randoms, or AWs? I had my first regular OB appointment today and we heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time. That was cool. Getting weighed the week after Christmas was not so cool. Yikes! When I was getting dressed my H was like, hey, you're starting to show. I was like, nope, that's just fat. I'll have my NT scan and Harmony test next week.
Any awesome or terrible Christmas presents this year? I got an iPad. Nothing terrible! However, we're doing Christmas with the ILs tomorrow, so there's definitely still a good chance of something terrible.
What are your New Year's resolutions? No real resolutions. I want to try and eat healthier and continue running as long as I can.
How far along are you/how old is your LO? Ollie is 3 months old!
Current vents, randoms, or AWs? Vent: I think Ollie is sick again. This poor kid can't catch a break. And because he is sick, he isn't eating well and isn't meeting his calorie goals. Which means a feeding tube. Ugh.
Any awesome or terrible Christmas presents this year? Nothing stands out. It was a very low key holiday.
What are your New Year's resolutions? Lose weight, save money. Same every year, lol.
Any other updates for us? I had surgery on my back almost two weeks ago. I way overdid it the first week and was still having a lot of pain. I have been basically doing nothing for the past week and am starting to feel a little better!
How far along are you/how old is your LO? Twins will be 12 weeks tomorrow.
Current vents, randoms, or AWs? I still have 4 weeks left of ML. I had 13 weeks planned but since they came early and were in NICU I took an extra 3 off (kept my return date the same). Most of it is unpaid but we've been managing. My time home with them has been wonderful! I am going to miss them during the day but will be glad to have more of a schedule, and be able to sit to eat lunch and read
Aw: Pumping is going really good. People doubted me that I couldn't EP and I have proved them wrong. I need 44 ounces a day for them and I make about 50. I built a freezer stash when they were in the NICU and I'm looking to donate it back to the local hospital. Hopefully when I return to work I can still keep up. I've already lost most of my weight but I need to start eating better and will be ready to start running again when the weather is nice.
Any awesome or terrible Christmas presents this year? H got me a "mom" necklace. Babies got a ton of clothes. They are just now getting out of newborn so I was slightly annoyed since I told people not to buy much. I hit black Friday pretty hard for them.
What are your New Year's resolutions? I'll be joining WW when I return to work. Want to get back in shape (lbs is down but I have some tummy skin to tighten still). I'm also running a local 10 mile race in September and want to PR. I was going to do a half in May but won't have the time to dedicate to training.
I also want to keep EP'ing, my goal is make it to 6 months, then we'll see about a year.
Any other updates for us? H and I went to a friends for an annual NYE party. I was telling him it's crazy to think last year we were in the bathroom doing injections preparing for IUI #1 with RE (that ended up getting cancelled). This year has been such a journey but SO worth it! Twins are hard work but they are amazing and we're having fun.

I got on the mini pill. I didn't want anything put inside of me and my Dr told me I needed to not risk getting pregnant since my body needs to recover (and we don't want another baby for a couple years). It was crazy to talk about preventing but you never know what can happen! My supply did dip for a few days after getting on but I heard around 8 weeks your body is producing on supply and demand and not off hormones anymore, so I don't think it was the pill that affected it. I ate a ton of oatmeal (starbucks ftw!) and got it back up.

I was just thinking we needed a check in! I'm so happy to see so many TTTC-ers with their babies!
How far along are you/how old is your LO? 27 weeks 5 days
Current vents, randoms, or AWs? Vent: the heartburn/indigestion/acid reflux!! This is getting to be worse than morning sickness; nothing sits right. I have an appointment next week and hope they can help me find relief!
AW: LOVE feeling baby move all the time!
Any awesome or terrible Christmas presents this year? A new digital camera! And not really terrible, but my ILs got us a set of glass-football-shaped beer steins... I'm really not sure what to do with these.
What are your New Year's resolutions? Avoid stress as much as possible. Keep myself and baby healthy.
Any other updates for us? The MFM is pretty certain that baby has a club foot. I talked with the Pediatric Orthopedic patient coordinator at our Children's Hospital today and feel really confident about baby's future treatment. She was so wonderful on the phone that I almost started crying which would have been impossible to stop, but I managed to keep it together.
Current vents, randoms, or AWs? Vent, heartburn is the suck, and I know this is nothing compared to what it will be like. AW, baby is moving SO much, I love it. DH got to feel a really good kick yesterday, he was so excited.
Any awesome or terrible Christmas presents this year? I got MrsAggie's famous pillow!! It's pretty darn awesome, thanks for the rec!
What are your New Year's resolutions? Haven't really thought of anything, but we do need to get healthier.

Ugh I'm so sorry, heartburn and acid reflux are the worst. I got them all the time, even just from drinking water. I took Zantac all through my pregnancy and it was a lifesaver. I also went through lots of Tums.

1. I'm currently 22 weeks! I cannot believe how fast it is going. I honestly never thought I'd even get this far!
2. VENT: OMG the heart burn. MrsAggie - is Zantac safe? Just OTC or do I need an Rx? I'm using Tums but I'd love something stronger, honestly. AW: So much movement these days. I love it, it's so exciting!
3. My H got me the Classic Tall Black Uggs I've been lusting after. <3
4. Be more mindful. Make time every day for mindfulness.
KaraOrNot - I liked your post bc I can't believe your baby is 3 months! I hope he's not sick, and I'm sorry about your surgery! I hope you're both on the mend soon!
pooh8402 - I was reading on a EU baby website this weekend and they were talking about how the nurses always shave you before you deliver. Is this a EU thing, or something I should be expecting in general? Bc...hmmmm.
And, a note to everybody that is struggling with how to maintain your hush hush area. WHAT ARE YOU DOING ABOUT THIS? I've got a full on 80s style problem going on, and I'm thinking about just bitting the bullet and trimming so I can get a wax. Normally I just shave, but I'm having a hard time seeing everything, and balancing in the various positions. Input welcome!! TIA!
whiskeyandwine OTC Zantac is safe. I took the maximum strength when I woke up and before bed. It really helped. And I got pretty dang good at blindly shaving if I do say so myself lol. Nurses will definitely not be shaving you before delivery. They might use clippers if you need a csection and you've still got 80s bush going on.

We will trim with clippers before a c-section (we do not shave, it actually increases the risk of infection) but nothing before a vag delivery.
I currently trim, and shave the bikini line. My plan is to get a wax a week or two before my due date. I will be delivering in front of several coworkers, so I need to be groomed!

Omg
Yes, delivering in front of coworkers mandates grooming.
I am currently (ok, last night) trimming with scissors and shaving the bikini line. Except, I have a hard time seeing what I am trimming! Lol.
Thanks, MrsA. I am going to pick some up. It's becoming a huge issue for me and I forgot to ask at my 20 week appointment.

How far along are you/how old is your LO? DW is 17 weeks 4 days
Current vents, randoms, or AWs? AW - we got our Panorama back and it's a girl! Vent - my BFF just announced her pregnancy. She's 2 weeks behind us and it brought up all these feelings of jealousy for me. I guess I just really wanted to have all the attention on us because it's taken so long for us to get here. I realize this is AWish and petty. (This is the same best friend who was convinced she was infertile and got pregnant on her own, so I'm just annoyed all around.)
Any awesome or terrible Christmas presents this year? My mom got me this decorated wine bottle that is totally NMS.
What are your New Year's resolutions? I'm working on losing weight and eating healthier this year.
Whiskey I would feel my way down there to shave. I could shave my legs fine but had to take deep breaths often. But for bikini area I just did as best I could and hoped it was mostly clear. I just so happened to shave two days before I gave birth. It was funny how excited I was to be able to see down there post birth and do a clean shave. A friend of mine said she used a mirror but I never tried that.
Ah, I missed this so I'll just wait until the next update to participate. But, generally, things are good. I'm in the 3rd trimester now, which is shocking. We are getting the nursery together and trying to figure out anything else that we need. Amazingly, I've been avoiding the heartburn and backaches that I was expecting (knock on wood!).
