Hi there! I lurk on a few of the GBCN boards, so I thought I would introduce myself. DH and I live just outside DC, but we're moving to Texas in a couple of months. I won't have a job and therefore more time to cook- woo hoo! I love making comfort food and baking just about anything.
Anyway, I have a question about boneless pork chops. I don't really make a lot of pork, other than pork tenderloin, so I wanted to try a new recipe. I bought some lovely-looking boneless chops, but they have a thin ring of fat around the outside. My question: do I trim the fat prior to cooking? I feel so stupid for not knowing! TIA!
