Sherlock Series 4 - set spoilers

Urgh, I thought Series 3 was frustrating, but what the hell is with all this Victorian stuff for the Christmas special?  If it's some sort of dream or something I will be SO irritated.  We only get a few opportunities to move the story along...spending one whole episode in some sort of AU is going to drive me nuts.

I know!  That's the only thing giving me hope...that's not Victorian at all, so maybe it's ... crap, IDEK what a reasonable explanation would be.  Costume party?  Takes place in someone's imagination?  It's funny, I tried to avoid Series 3 spoilers at all costs.  Now, I'm just like, "Whatever, just tell me.  It can't get worse."  But maybe it can.  :-P

I have been lurking all over the Twitters and Tumblrs the last two days... me and all the young'uns. It's really quite ridiculous. I'm waiting for my husband to stage an intervention.

I'm really concerned how they're going to work a Victorian storyline into this show, if not a costume party or giant mind palace scene? And neither of those truly thrill me. And I'm not gonna lie, I miss the curls. They were quintessential Sherlock to me.

Dear God, the curls are GONE?!?! Those ARE Sherlock though! AS IF he would waste the time to straighten his hair unless it was critical for some undercover thing, give us a break.

I can't remember, has Moffat released his three words for Series 4? Not yet, right?  It was just "ghost" for the Xmas special?

I feel like they know how much they'd piss off the fandom if they took our curls away. I'm hoping they wouldn't dare. Plus, what you said. He couldn't be bothered.
