I don't THINK I'm noticeably swelling, but I feel like I'm holding on to water weight, if that makes sense? I can't really see any puffiness in my hands or feet, but I do feel like I'm kind of all-over bloaty. It's weird.
My wedding rings still fit, but I took them off because I noticeably swelled once after going to a baseball game in the 100+ degree heat and couldn't get them off and it scared the bejeezus out of me
I've worn nothing but flip-flops since late June. My feet are so. freaking. ugly.
The worst, though, is that the joints in my fingers are swelling, so when I wake up I have trouble closing a few fingers -- notably, my pinky and ring finger on my left hand. That totally freaked me out the first time it happened.
40 weeks, 1 day and counting ... ;-P This can't go on forever, right?
Can I join too? I'm 23 weeks and have had major cankles since the beginning of summer. Some days (the ones that get to 100+ degrees) I get so swollen my feet hurt to even walk. It stinks. I try to keep my feet up as much as possible, but it gets hard when chasing around two DDs, plus the three other kids that I babysit!
Oh, and as fair warning for the FTMs, my feet got even worse in the first week after having DD1! Maybe its because it was summer then, but that sucked even worse, as they were so bad they hurt no matter what! After that week though, they went back to normal, pre-preg feet.

Same here. I mentioned the swelling to my OB in the hospital and she told me it would get worse before it got better, and dear God, did it ever. :/ But, by the end of the first week, it was all gone and things were back to pre-pregnancy normal.
I've only started to notice swelling in my fingers over the last week or so. My right hand ring is too tight, and me wedding rings are tighter than normal. I have to take all rings off before going for a walk or it gets uncomfortable. My fingers look like little smokey sausages.
I wasn't having swelling at all until my doctor told me to eat/drink more salt. I was having these faint spells and getting super dizzy and she finally suspected that I either wasn't getting enough water (impossible with how much I drink!) or that I wasn't retaining enough water. So I increased my salt intake and suddenly I'm swollen as can be! It totally sucks!

DS is an August baby. I could barely stuff them into Croc Mary Janes and would take a good hour for dimples from holes to go away once I took them off (no flips allowed at work). I'd lose 4 pounds a night peeing then gain it back. After delivery was way worse, couldn't even bend them. It was a good week before they settled (literally, such a weird feeling) back in place.
33.5 weeks and no major swelling yet... my feet and ankles do swell a bit at the end of the day, depending on how hot it is and whether I walked a bunch that day. Rings still fit fine. We had a really hot weekend, though, and despite drinking tons of water I had some very painful BH contractions.

I'm 30 weeks and amazingly haven't had swelling yet. What's killing me now is my feet. The tendons are stretching and I'm wearing my gym shoes with my nice business casual work clothes. I'm not going to let me feet get damaged to "look cute" for the next 10 weeks.
I remember going to Ikea to "walk the baby out" and then stopping for chinese food when I was 39w pg. My feet were a MESS the next morning and didn't recover until well past delivery
