I lied about going to the all-university commencement today so that I could get my tires taken care of. I thought I'd have to drop it off, subway home, wait, go back, etc BUT they put on 2 new tires in 20 minutes. Plus I paid cash so they paid the tax & disposal. Now I'm sitting on my couch with an iced coffee contemplating what to do with the rest of the day.

I'm looking forward to the next three days - graduation and fancy dinner with my parents, H & little sister tomorrow, happy hour and celebratory drunkeness Friday after work, and food festival Saturday! Woo hoo!

OH! I remembered what's good for me this Wednesday!

I am slowly but surely losing the weight that I gained post-layoff and pre-wedding! Every time the scale reads a pound less, I do a little mental happy dance.

Tardy to the party. Looks like everyone has some fun stuff lined up!

I had a test this morning to find out if I am diabetic, but my appointment was for 8:15 and the office doesn't open until 8:30 so I got pissed off and went back home to sleep a little more. I left them a nice voicemail about it and asked them to call me back to reschedule but haven't heard anything yet.
