In case you were wondering what exactly we can do:
Mods have access to the moderator forum (which right now is all about setting up boards/format), can make posts sticky, locked, bump, or in general move posts around/delete. We can see reported threads.

Global mods will be able to do all of the above, plus create/edit new boards, and ban users.

There may be other stuff, but I'm only 2 cups of coffee in. . .

See the Global Mod sticky post at the top? That is for name submission. In the next couple of days there will be a new one with a poll. Mack has already submitted her name, now we just have to vote.

I'm not sure how it will work. Mack may be the only one (who self nominated) who mainly posts on the baby side. . . so she may become global mod by default.
