I EP and when I'm alone I put one on a pillow on my lap and one on a pillow next to me on the couch. They always finish the same time so I lift both and burp. I know I cant do this forever. They're still small and I tried the boppy but it didnt seem to work. I think my main struggle is burping if I were to have them on the floor. So tell me any tips you might have
I fed one at a time. My girls needed constant burping and to be in just the right position though. The two times I attempted feeding both at the same time I ended up with spit up everywhere. So they were on a slightly stagered schedule if I was alone. If DH was with me we fed them together.

When they were really little I fed one right after the other. Similar to nomad, we would end up with spit up everywhere if I tried to feed both at the same time.
Eventually, after the spit up died down a bit, I was able to sit down with one boppy on each side and feed both boys simultaneously in the boppies. I would burp one, then the other. Our boys use pacifiers so one would get the pacifier while I burped the other. Then switch. I want to say that was around the 3 month mark. Maybe 4.
I dont have experience myself because I always nursed but my H used to have one on the couch on a boppy and one in his lap or had them both in the rnp. When they got older he would put them in their highchairs.
I know he and my mom both try to feed one at a time but if they had to feed both at the same time that's how they did it.

One was propped up on a pillow and one on a boppy. They learned how to hold their bottles pretty early, but before that I just propped one bottle up while I held the other. They took SO LONG to eat (and still do) that I would never get anywhere if I fed one at a time. I do have the formula stains on my couch to prove it.
I don't bottle feed, but my wife sits on the floor and props them on two boppy pillows in front of her. I've also heard of people who have good success with using two bouncers set in front of them. Even now she still uses the boppers even though the babies can hold their own bottles.
We also dropped burping pretty early, though I think it would be easy enough to burp one then the other with this set up.

In boppies, their swing chairs, or high chairs. We bottle fed at the same time. High chairs worked out great b/c they needed some upright time after eating.

I would not prop bottles, especially if there is any concern about reflux etc. We held the bottles and that was another reason the high chairs worked out well -- propping places for our arms.
Bottle-fed my kids while cradling them, and once they got older, they fed on their own. I also did the old-fashioned bottle-prop method, which I'm certain no one does anymore, but back in the day, bottle-propping was common.
lol these threads are cracking me up because not only is she bumping old threads, but she hasn't had a baby in like 30 years and all her advice is totally outdated. Most of us come here to escape our parent's advice!

10000% that’s why she’s here. She now has kids who are having kids and they refuse to take her 30 year old advice so she has to get it out somewhere!
