Are you planning on/entertaining the idea of trying for another child?
What is the most useful baby/child item(s) you own? Alternative for pregnants (this was autocorrected to pregnantness. Wtf? That's a word?): What baby item are you most excited about or think will be the most useful?
How far along are you/how old is your LO? C will be 8 weeks tomorrow. Almost two months!
Current vents, randoms, or AWs? Everything is really good. C is perfect and healthy and I feel incredibly blessed that he's ours. He's smiling all the time and making lots of adorable noises. He's a champion nurser and loves to eat, so I'm soaking up all of the snuggles.
I go back to work in two weeks, so I'm starting to get ready. I had to order new work pants today, since none of mine fit. My mom is watching C when I go back to work, so we're doing a practice run on Thursday. I plan to clean, purge our closets, do a lot of laundry, and get a pedicure. It'll be nice to get stuff done, but I'm sure I'll miss him like crazy and be rushing to pick him up at 3:30.
Are you planning on/entertaining the idea of trying for another child? Yes, but not for a few years. We have three frozen embryos, so I think we'll do another FET in summer 2016.
What is the most useful baby/child item(s) you own? OXO wipes container- it sounds simple, but the weighted part makes getting the wipes out one at a time so much easier, and keeps them from drying out. FP snugamonkey swing- he loves sitting in it, listening to the music and watching the mobile. Halo sleepsack swaddles- they make swaddling easy and are the only way C sleeps at night. We've tried a few other brands but these are our favorite. Boppy- we obviously use it for breastfeeding, but he also loves to sit propped up in it. Mustela bath products- the smell was a little strong at first, but the foam shampoo fixed his cradle cap and the face cream and body lotion are great for keeping his skin moisturized. We used J&J at first and his skin was so dry.
How far along are you/how old is your LO? Ollie is 3.5 months.
Current vents, randoms, or AWs? He got his feeding tube in last week and gained weight! Up to 11 pounds!
Are you planning on/entertaining the idea of trying for another child? Right now, I am pretty firmly in the OAD camp, but I suspect that is because we are in the thick of Ollie's health issues and upcoming surgery. Plus, I just had back surgery and I can't imagine feeling normal again. Then add on possible genetic issues and IF? I just don't know.
What is the most useful baby/child item(s) you own? I really like our rock n play. We have a small house and it is so easy to move
Current vents, randoms, or AWs? I feel so good that I can't help but be nervous. I want to feel something to make this feel more real! A friend also offered us her employee discount to buy buy baby so that'll save us some money on the furniture!
Are you planning on/entertaining the idea of trying for another child? I'm not sure I'd do IVF again. I'm hoping that since they removed a ton of endo that maybe it'll happen naturally next time. I never gave us the chance to have that happen this time after the surgery because of our living situation. If it doesn't happen naturally, I think we'll be OAD.
Alternative for pregnants (this was autocorrected to pregnantness. Wtf? That's a word?): What baby item are you most excited about or think will be the most useful? I'm really excited about trying to cloth diaper.
Any other updates for us? My last day of work is Friday I'll be heading up to RI on Monday to try to find a house for us. So many big changes are happening now.
Bonus points for bump or baby PIPs took my first photo today! I'm going to be a house if I continue like this.
Current vents, randoms, or AWs? I passed my GD test, thankfully. I was pretty nervous with the PCOS, but I'm in the clear. On the other hand, that means I can eat anything and I need to stop that! I went to the hospital last week because I had a lot of pain, cramping, nausea, etc. It turned out that it was just a bug, but I was pretty nervous at the time that it was pre-eclampsia (sp?).
Are you planning on/entertaining the idea of trying for another child? This is #2 for us, and we would both like a 3rd, but it would either have to be natural (not likely) or we would need to have insurance coverage for fertility. So, we are probably done.
What baby item are you most excited about or think will be the most useful? I'm most excited about getting a Mamaroo since I wanted one last time but didn't want to spend the money.
Any other updates for us? We are so stuck on names. Ugh. I like Griffin, Anderson, Julian, Collin, and Ben (but we probably wouldn't go with Ben because there is a sports star in our town named that and he's super popular so I'm sure there will be 21 Bens in baby's school classes). Coming to an agreement with DH is going to be a process. Your opinions are welcome!
I'll PIP a belly shot through the app in a little while!
Thank you! So is Ollie! I love the look on his face in the first photo, like, "really mom?"
That's great that he is gaining weight with the tube! I have a good friend whose little guy has a feeding tube, and it was (literally) a lifesaver for them.
Current vents, randoms, or AWs? I feel so good that I can't help but be nervous. I want to feel something to make this feel more real.
I was the same way. I felt great most of my pregnancy, very little nausea or uncomfortableness, and I worried that it meant something was wrong. Everything was fine though, some of us just get lucky I think!

How far along are you/how old is your LO? C is 18w5d.
Current vents, randoms, or AWs? We're trying to close on a house and our seller is slow as molasses. We're still in attorney review and our closing is supposed to be Monday. Ack!
Are you planning on/entertaining the idea of trying for another child? We've always wanted 2, but it's up in the air after going through IF. I kind of want to carry, but it's a little medically complicated.
Alternative for pregnants (this was autocorrected to pregnantness. Wtf? That's a word?): What baby item are you most excited about or think will be the most useful? I'm excited for babywearing. We have a Moby, and I'm hoping to get a woven wrap and a Tula too.
KaraOrNot, glad Ollie is gaining weight! How's your back doing after surgery?

Thanks for asking! I am doing really good and able to do more each day! Unfortunately, this means I finally have to go back to work!

I loooooove my wovens. I'm excited that you want to try!
Current vents, randoms, or AWs? Viability this week, that's pretty exciting
Are you planning on/entertaining the idea of trying for another child? We are most likely OAD. I always wanted at least 2-3 kids, but dh didn't really want any. Plus with our age, financials, and what it took to get this one, I doubt we'll go through it again. We know we can't be sure until after baby is born, but we say we're 99% sure just one.
What is the most useful baby/child item(s) you own? Alternative for pregnants (this was autocorrected to pregnantness. Wtf? That's a word?): What baby item are you most excited about or think will be the most useful? Honestly, no idea. I need to work on my registry!
Current vents, randoms, or AWs? My NT screen on Monday showed an increased nuchal fold (3 mm). I had a CVS done on Tuesday and now I'm a nervous wreck waiting for the results and wondering if the baby is ok after the CVS procedure. I constantly have a pit in my stomach and feel sick (from the anxiety, not morning sickness), but at the same time, I'm so stressed out that I'm eating everything in sight.
Are you planning on/entertaining the idea of trying for another child? I don't know if I'm going to survive this one!
What baby item are you most excited about or think will be the most useful? Xanax, lol?
KaraOrNot - I love that first picture of Ollie. It looks like he's giving major side-eye to something!
Update: Preliminary CVS results came back normal. Now we just have to wait for the full karyotype to confirm.
How far along are you/how old is your LO? I am 14w1d
Current vents, randoms, or AWs? headaches, please to go away, thanks. I also would love some wine.
Are you planning on/entertaining the idea of trying for another child? I'm planning on it, DH is considering/entertaining the idea. we have 3 embryos left, so I'd want to do FET when this one is about a year, year and a half. we have said in the past that if/when we have more than one, we'd want them close in age.
What is the most useful baby/child item(s) you own? N/A Alternative for pregnants (this was autocorrected to pregnantness. Wtf? That's a word?): What baby item are you most excited about or think will be the most useful? I am looking forward to this rock n play. and I want to try a Moby or K'Tan.

How far along are you/how old is your LO? I'm 22w4d
Current vents, randoms, or AWs? I've had a pretty great 2nd tri, feel good with energy. She is kicking up a storm these days. Feels like I have a small bumper car driving around in there
Are you planning on/entertaining the idea of trying for another child? Yes we've always planned on 2, I just turned 39 so we can't wait too long. I hope I'll feel ready that fast.
What is the most useful baby/child item(s) you own? Alternative for pregnants (this was autocorrected to pregnantness. Wtf? That's a word?): What baby item are you most excited about or think will be the most useful? I feel like I won't know until the baby comes, and get to try everything out. I hear the rock n play is a must.
Any other updates for us? I have my glucose test followed by an ultrasound at 24w to see if my placenta has pulled up. It was low lying in the anatomy scan. Baby will be dancing like Michael Jackson on that ultrasound after drinking the orange drink!
Bonus points for bump or baby PIPs here I am. I am getting huge.

How far along are you/how old is your LO? 29 weeks, 4 days
Current vents, randoms, or AWs? I have a shower this weekend! I'm excited and nervous. Not sure what the nervousness is, but I think it has to do with once the baby "stuff" starts arriving, it's like "shit's getting real!" We haven't bought anything ourselves and only got a couple little outfits at Christmas that I was able to put away & forget about for now.
Other random, today we had a pep rally at school. Lots of noise, screaming kids, loud microphones, music, etc. Baby either loved it or hated it, b/c while I was in the gym the kid never stopped kicking, punching, and moving. It was probably the most active baby's been during the school day.
Are you planning on/entertaining the idea of trying for another child? We would like 2. We'll see how things go with this one before making any for sure plans though.
What is the most useful baby/child item(s) you own?
Alternative for pregnants (this was autocorrected to pregnantness. Wtf? That's a word?): What baby item are you most excited about or think will be the most useful? I'm not sure. My sister loved her RnP and my nephew loved his exersaucer thing.
Any other updates for us? Nothing major to report. I can't believe how fast it's going!
Current vents, randoms, or AWs? I'm 6 weeks from returning to work and I have to start looking for childcare. Im suddenly terrified of leaving W with a stranger
Are you planning on/entertaining the idea of trying for another child? We always planned on having 2. I'm uneasy about the idea of doing it again after the pre-e and PP pre-e. What if I end up having a micro-premie? What if I die and leave W motherless? Of course it could all turn out fine but the risks make me pause.
What is the most useful baby/child item(s) you own? RNP - W spends most of his day in it and it's portable so it can be moved from room to room and we've traveled with it. PNP - I have the one with the napper and changing table. W sleeps in the napper at night and loves the high level vibration when he's fussy. I also like the noise maker/light on it so I can check on him. We use the changing table for every diaper change and it wipes down easily when he pees everywhere. FP swing - Soothes him when he's fussy and he's currently enthralled with the mobile on it. Boba - W likes to be worn when he's fussy and this one is comfy for me and him. Swaddle blankets - Big enough to use as he grows. www.etsy.com/shop/sweetheartnsunshine?ref=l2-shopheader-name Munchkin bottle warmer - Because waiting on hot water to heat a bottle is too long when he's screaming. I didn't register for this one but it's all target had in store and it works fine.
Any other updates for us? W started rolling over from belly to back at 4 weeks. His motivation was his hatred of tummy time lol! He is starting to fill out and he looks so big to me. He's still wearing newborn but it's probably about time to switch over to 3 mo.
DS is 5 months TODAY! (..crap. I need to do a picture. I usually do some sort of hat or prop for his monthlies, but I have nothing planned. SHOOT. Oh well.)
Current crap -- We are just emerging from a wicked stomach virus. Apparently 7 of the 9 kids in his daycare class got it, and all of their parents. So at least we weren't suffering alone? I am hoping that they all had more than one bathroom in their homes as well. heh. I'm afraid to weigh DS after this. He had JUST gotten back up to 12 lb (he took a dip down to 11.5 after he started daycare because I suck and wasn't putting enough milk in his bottles), so this was crappy timing. I guess I need to look up where he is supposed to be by 5mo and call the Dr if he is still <3%. Maybe we could start rice or oatmeal? idk. Ignore me. Babbling.
We always said we wanted 2+ if any, but idk. He's a relatively high-maintenance kiddo with gas issues/colic/whatever, and it doesn't bring out the best in me as I've discussed ad nauseum on multiple boards, lol. It's something I can live with and get through, but the thought of DS as a cognizant toddler seeing me lose my shit and curse at his tiny baby sibling? That thought is HORRIFYING. I think we'd only do it if we could move and have family help nearby first, and considering that DH is older than me, I don't think it'll happen in a timeframe in which he'll still be comfortable starting over with a baby. We'll just have to see how it plays out.

How far along are you/how old is your LO? C was 1 month old yesterday!
Current vents, randoms, or AWs? We are truly enjoying getting to know our little guy! We love him so much and just cannot believe that he's finally here! Vent wise: C's doctor thinks he has reflux. We started a med 2 weeks ago and it didn't help so after his f/u today we are trying another med, starting probiotics, and doing a stool test to see if he's MSPI. Good news is that he gained 1.25 lbs in 2 weeks!
Are you planning on/entertaining the idea of trying for another child? We want them close together and are going against my OB's advice and not trying/not preventing for now. We will likely start trying in Sept. If we get pregnant while not trying it truly will be a miracle from God...I now not only have to deal with DH being in the mood (he has a pretty low sex drive) but also C cooperating as well. Oh well...it would be nice to have sex again but it's also not the highest on my priorities right now.
What is the most useful baby/child item(s) you own? RNP...it has been a lifesaver! Not most useful but the item I love the most...BOB jogging stroller! C and I have already started our 1/2 marathon training for our race in May!
Any other updates for us? DH's boss just told him to take me out to dinner (at a nice restaurant). DH texted to tell me to start pumping (I just bought bottles and storage bags today). For some reason I'm really nervous about leaving C which is surprising...I never thought I would be "that" mom. A break will be nice though...we could definitely use a night out and some good quality time together!
