Day 11.
I wish I could say the biggest changes have been boundless energy and a new love for raw veggies and black coffee. Ha.
B - Roasted veggies, diced chicken/apple sausage, green olives L - Either leftover tikka masala or Waldorf chicken salad D - Leftover carnitas on plantain nachos
H and I discovered we like coconut water with pineapple! Not to replace our regular water of course but a little change up is nice. Still trying to choke down La Croix and black coffee with almond milk.
Day 10! I have a lot more energy. Not as tired throughout the day as I was previously. DH says he already is not craving sugar as much. This challenge has been eye opening for us.
Day 11. No big changes really, just an overall feeling better.
B- scrambled egg w/ potatoes and onions, planned to have some oranges and didn't get around to them L- avocado-lime chicken salad, mini bell peppers and plantain chips D- this is a tricky one, because I don't know. We have a regular weekly dinner with friends tonight, no idea what we're eating since I'm not hosting. I'll have a snack beforehand and then eat dinner after we get home if I can't put together something compliant there. S- apples and cashew butter, maybe more chicken salad E- yoga
ETA: dinner ended up being chili with potatoes, so I ate it and just avoided the beans. And the rice, pasta, cheese and beer that were also available

Day 10. I feel the biggest change is I have more energy. I use to be to tired to do the dishes after dinner. I have been doing the dishes and cleaning the kitchen after dinner.
The biggest change has been an increase in my fitness endurance and my energy throughout the day. Sugar/processed foods also tend to leave me feeling foggy and unfocused so these two weeks of clean eating have really improved my focus and mood. Also, the bloat is gone and my abs are starting to reemerge. That is a great feeling!
B- eggs and homemade salsa L-wambam's cauliflower soup (posted in a soup thread a few day's back on ML. SOOOOOOO GOOD) D- undetermined E-7km run

Day 10. Everything's good--still bloated but feel fine otherwise.
I think the biggest change is how little thought I give to eating now. No thoughts of going to the vending machine for a midday snack or what I'm going to eat next. There was a lot of obssessiveness that's gone now. That is huge for me.
Day 14 - The mental clarity and alertness is definitely noticable and motivating. At the same time there are times when I would kill for a piece of chocolate or a bite of my daughter's sandwich. Maybe I need to be eating more at each meal? I hope all this restricting (in types of food I'm eating not quantities) does not lead me to a bender on January 31!
B - Scramble with red onions and some ground beef with avocado and pico de gallo L - egg salad with a hamburger patty with arugula and cherry tomato (this was a craving and was delicious! D - Chicken thighs with brussels sprouts and sweet potatos
I tried monkey salad for a snack yesterday and it was delicious!
The biggest change is how much sleep I've been getting/how well I'm sleeping. I'm not tired during the day at all, but once I get home and eat dinner, I've been ready for bed by 9 which is 1-2 hours earlier than I used to go to bed. I feel great in the morning! I've also been thirstier and therefore drinking more water than I used to.
B - banana and some nuts L - green salad with balsamic, turkey breast, fruit (clementines) S - apple and handful of almonds D - roasted pork loin, kale, broccoli with garlic and olive oil
