Can I sub yellow squash for zucchini?

I'm making pineapple zucchini muffins and I have one zucchini and one yellow squash...do you think it will affect the flavor to use the yellow squash? I need 2 and I only have one of each.

Yellow squash and zucchini are pretty much interchangable. I've used one in place of the other in zucchini bread before.
