The weekend was fun but unfortunately I slipped up on Sat. night and drank some wine. I was visiting with my fave cousin who I don't see often and we had a great time. It's amazing at how quickly the bloat returns!
Am I supposed to start over at Day 1? Or just keep going? I'll probably just keep going and be very clean and careful to get back on track.

Day 16 and we made it through football sunday with on plan treats and no beer. I have three hallenging days ahead this week....two dinners with friends and a black tie party on saturday. Will basically control as much as I can.
I really can't wait for this to be over though. The food is fine but the mental hoops of trying to figure out what is ok to eat constantly is annoying.

Day 15. I can't believe I'm halfway through. I still haven't weighed myself, and sometimes I'm really tempted to get on the scale. For now I'm content with looser clothes. For convenience and ease of prep, my favorite recipe is nomnompaleo's spicy tuna cakes. Sorry, can't link on my phone.
Breakfast: banana with almond butter. I can't stomach eating any more pre-cooked egg bake type things, and don't have time to make fresh ones each morning.
Lunch: spicy tuna cakes, raw veggies with paleo ranch and leftover roasted broccoli. I made mayo yesterday and it came out perfect. I was quite pleased with myself, lol.
I think day 14 started the toughest part. I am really starting to crave things that I shouldn't have. All I want right now is a Monterey melt from Whataburger and a latte from Starbucks. I can't stop thinking about it. My husband hasn't been so great about it this weekend. He had beer, pita chips, hummus, chili wih beans, and a pot roast potato wth gravy. I'm happy that he was able to stick with it for 2 weeks. There's no way I could have made it this far without him doing it with me. He is planning to continue on like this weekend never happened.
I tried making Sbux ground coffee in our regular coffee pot and chilling it overnight for iced coffee. Bleh. So now I have grounds sitting in water for 24 hours and I'll filter it out to see if that's any better. I really want to make Paleo Vanilla Hazelnut Creamer but IDK where to find raw hazelnuts without driving an hour to Whole Foods. I'll choose a cleaner option after these 30 days but I'm definitely going back to having creamer in my coffee!

It really is way, way better this way.
Oh good! I'm hopeful that tomorrow's coffee will be much better.
Day 9 had my first few tests over the weekend. 2 get togethers where there was yummy food and wine. They were low key so I didn't miss it too much.
B: egg, homemade chorizo, sweet potato casserole, kale L: sweet potato and leek soup, half of avocado, banana and almond butter S1: Larabar at the mall while DS ate a pretzel S2: guacamole, fruit at party D: chicken, zucchini poppers with guacamole, kale, zoodles, blackberries, almonds
A little too much snacking today. But stayed on plan.
