So, I was following HoneySpider's dry hair post. My hair is awful dry despite the conditioner in shower, leave-in conditioner after shower, AND weekly coconut oil treatments. I thought I would give it a try with dry shampoo every other day...but was researching brands. I saw in one of my magazines that Herbal Essence's dry hampoo had really good ratings. (I think it helps that it's a spray.) OMG, I'm sold. My hair did really well with is this morning. I can for sure tell you I can only go every other day without washing and not 3-4 days necessarily...but that is huge for me!
I hope the Herbal Essence dry shampoo works for you MrsMB!
I have to drive H to the airport in an hour. Not looking forward to him being away all week. But it will give me time to think of a Valentine's gift for him .
I have been doing errands since 8 and now I am at Honda getting my oil changed. So glad to be "trapped" so I can sit down without worrying I'm not getting anything done.

Isn't that just GRAND? I love being able to just sit sometimes.
I just found one of my textbooks on the local facebook group for an awesome deal. I am buying a few extra texts to sell to Amazon. This is probably a horrible thing, but I can get ~$40 each on Amazon.

MrsMB Glad you like it! I personally didn't because it made my hair feel like it had hairspray in it. Didn't leave the white powdery stuff though, so that was a plus. I use Salon Grafix I think it is and really like that one!
We were running around this morning and now are sitting at home until my doctor's appointment today. I want to be productive but this chair is comfy right now..
I budgeted extra for gas while I'm out on short term disability because I can't expense it on my corporate card. Except gas prices have crashed! So even with the extra fill up or two a month from me, our gas budget looks fantastic. I filled up my SUV using banked fuel points, paid $1.69/gallon, total of $22.50. So cheap!
I want to buy some coloring books. I thought my grocery store had some, but nope. and I forgot to get face scrub. I want to go to Walmart to get these two items, but...
THE COLLEGE STUDENTS ARE BACK IN TOWN!! AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! Traffic is horrendous, all the stores are packed, and I literally scolded some college girl at the grocery store today. her cart was on one side of the aisle, and she was on the other, picking out soap, blocking both sides. I said, "here, put your cart NEXT to you, so that everyone can use the aisle."
I live on the south side of town partly to get AWAY from them, why are they in my store?
and yes, I'm fully aware that a) this comes from living in a college town and b) I was a student not too long ago. still annoying when they don't know how to act like human beings.
yes, for myself. I've got a whole list of them on my Amazon wish list, so thanks for giving me another. although I'm not opposed to kid's coloring books too, which is why I wanted to go to Walmart just to have one or two for tonight. I really wanna color, ha.

I worked in a call center my freshman year in college (a Southern school in Mississippi). For some reason, they gave us sheets from coloring books to color. It wasn't even an adult coloring book either. As a joke, I sent one home to my parents. Of course, they promptly put it on the fridge that entire year:)
pooh8402 I know the feeling! Several of the towns that I travel to for work are college towns. So many students dodging in and out of traffic (are they TRYING to get run over??) and jamming up the line at Starbucks. It's blissfully quiet during summer and holiday breaks.
I haven't been able to check in all day and I've now been up for 19 hrs.
I worked the night shift last night and then this am I got a phone call from a friend who needed help to move her stuff asap out of her house that she was sharing with her soon to be XH.
Things have gone very badly and she wants it to be over, so we had to pack up all her clothing and her stuff during his work day today. I am now exhausted and I am ready for bed.
My mom usually gets me some kind of craft-related thing for my stocking every year and this year I got this scratch off princess art thing. It was pretty fun!
I got some MrsAggie, thanks! Disney Princesses, Mickey Mouse, and Despicable Me! yay! and some adult ones on the way via Amazon. the ones I got will be good when my niece and nephew visit too, so win-win.
